14th Meeting of the IAEG-SDGs

23-25 October 2023

The 14th Meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) was held on 23 to 25 October 2023, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting considered a range of topics – including preparations for the planned 2025 comprehensive review and the need to document lessons learnt from the collective experience of developing the current indicator framework to inform future similar exercises post-2030.

EGRISS Secretariat joined the meeting in an observer category to represent interests of the group – advocating for and enabling the inclusion of forcibly displaced and stateless persons in relevant SDG indicators and reporting processes. This provided an opportunity to remind the IAEG-SDGs of the 12 priority indicators, as well as the endorsement of IROSS which has identified an additional 4 indicators. New resources, produced by EGRISS members to facilitate statistical inclusion of refugees and IDPs were also shared including the revised Compilers’ Manual and E-learning both launched earlier this year.
