The summary report for the meeting to finalize the International Recommendations on Statelessness Statistics (IROSS), which was held on the 20th-22nd June in Copenhagen, aims to consolidate the substantive points of agreement reached during the meeting, draw attention to the momentum established, and highlight how the recommendations progressed during the event.
The report situates the IROSS in EGRISS’ history and describes the progress made on the recommendations to date. Following this, the report presents key points of agreement related to the use of the recommendations in different political contexts, the statelessness statistical framework, and the use of data sources to collect statelessness data.
