On 16-17 November 2022, SICA and EGRISS members (UNHCR, JIPS, and IOM) convened a regional workshop in Roatan, Honduras. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the content of the International Recommendations on IDP Statistics (IRIS) as well as the challenges and opportunities that come with their implementation in Central America. The meeting came as part of EGRISS continuous efforts to support the implementation of the IRIS and part of an extensive collaboration between EGRISS and the System of Integration of Central America (SICA). Moreover, this report highlights key takeaways from the meeting as well as messages and recommendations for their implementation.
