2025 All Members Meeting

The 2025 All Members Meeting of the Expert Group on Refugee, IDP and Statelessness Statistics (EGRISS) took place in Warsaw, Poland, from the 28th to the 30th of October. More than 100 representatives from our membership and a selection of external partners joined the event in-person and online to discuss the need for inclusive, high-quality, and harmonised national statistics on forced displacement and statelessness.

Capitalising on the substantial outcomes from the successful 2022 All-Members Meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, this convening provided a vital opportunity to review the Group’s achievements, share experiences and lessons learnt from implementation of the IRRS, IRIS and IROSS, and define our future direction, as our current mandate (2020–2025) draws to a close.

Why Poland?

Statistics Poland is proud hosted the event in their headquarters in Warsaw. Poland’s experience hosting displaced people, particularly from Ukraine, has given rise to meaningful statistical inclusion efforts and highlighted the importance of evidence-based policies and response.
