Webinar: Profiling of IDPs and Populations at Risk of Statelessness

in the Island Provinces of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)

26 January 2022

The event, co-hosted by UNHCR and JIPS, shared the results of the profiling exercise conduced in BaSulTa, Philippines and showcased initial evidence on the use of the results. The event further aimed to spark interest on the value of profiling data, generated through a collaborative process in geographically isolated and hard-to-reach areas. Key audiences targeted by the event were global-level representatives from donors, humanitarian, development and research organizations and other partners that fund or implement projects to support displacement affected populations and populations at risk of statelessness. The EGRISS Secretariat held a session during the event highlighting linkages between the profiling exercise and the global efforts to develop recommendations on statelessness statistics.
