28 case studies published thus far, documenting efforts regions and institutions, with yearly additions.

Since the adoption of the International Recommendations on Refugee, IDP and Statelessness Statistics (IRRS, IRIS and IROSS), EGRISS has tracked how these standards are being put into practice at national, regional, and global levels. Alongside quantitative monitoring provided by the GAIN Survey, EGRISS works with partners to develop case studies that document practical experiences from countries and institutions — capturing the methodological innovations, institutional arrangements and lessons learned that numbers alone cannot convey.

The case studies illustrate concrete efforts to harmonize statistical definitions, integrate forcibly displaced and stateless populations into national data collection systems, strengthen institutional capacity, and improve coordination among stakeholders. They reflect diverse geographic and institutional contexts and are intended as a practical resource for others undertaking similar work.
