The third issue of our quarterly newsletter highlights the collective achievements of the EGRISS community between July and September 2026. The quarter saw the launch of our new open-source Training Package, developed and validated by members across regions to support in-person capacity strengthening on forced displacement and statelessness statistics. Regional momentum also grew, with displacement statistics on the agenda of the UNESCWA Statistical Committee and the UNECE Group of Experts on Statistics on Population and Migration, where a new task force on refugee, IDP and statelessness statistics was launched. Meanwhile, 741 participants completed our facilitated e-learning course, and the second edition of the GAIN Tables offered a detailed look at how the Recommendations are being implemented worldwide.
