About the facilitated edition

Developed by EGRISS and UN-SIAP, this facilitated edition includes live webinars, a structured learning schedule, and interactive discussions alongside the core modules. It covers the IRRS, IRIS and IROSS — definitions, classifications, methodologies, data sources, coordination mechanisms, and SDG linkages.

Offered once every two years. Previous participants welcome as a refresher; new participants especially encouraged.

2022 Asia & the Pacific Regional Trends on Forced Displacement

The EGRISS Secretariat participated in the UNESCAP-organized Asia-Pacific Stats Café on the “2022 Asia & the Pacific Regional Trends on Forced Displacement”, which discussed trends on forced displacement and ongoing activities at global, regional and country level. During the session, the EGRISS coordinator, Natalia Baal, presented an update on the activities of the Expert Group and introduced the International Recommendations on Statelessness Statistics (IROSS), as part of an effort to promote this process to participants located in the Asia-Pacific region.
