Nationally-owned Change

Activities prioritise building on existing platforms and local priorities to ensure sustainable, lasting impact.

Technical Subgroup 1 serves as a collaborative platform to advance EGRISS’ capacity development objectives, specifically in support of implementing the IRRS, IRIS and IROSS. Through active engagement with national, international and regional organisations through workshops, events and other processes, the Subgroup seeks to foster sustainable change in the displacement data landscape within regions building on existing platforms and regional priorities.

The value of regional cooperation and peer-to-peer exchange continues to grow, as evidenced by progress reported through the Global Annual Inclusion (GAIN) Survey. These mechanisms contribute to more harmonised methodologies, enhanced technical capacity, and improved statistical cooperation.
