EGRISS was invited to facilitate a session as part of ILO’s established online course ‘Measuring & Analysing Labour Migration’. Facilitated jointly by UNHCR and EGRISS Secretariat, the session focused on the inclusion of refugees in labour statistics and the role of the International Recommendations on Refugee Statistics (IRRS). Participants included colleagues from Burkina Faso, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa and Uganda and provided an opportunity to further disseminate the IRRS and discuss opportunities and challenges countries face when pursuing the inclusion of refugees in national surveys such as the Labour Force Survey and others.
