Event Details

The side event is associated to the multi-stakeholder pledge on ‘Inclusion of Forcibly Displaced and Stateless Persons in National Statistical Systems and Surveys’ co-lead by EGRISS, together with its members from the World Bank-UNHCR Joint Data Center on Forced Displacement (JDC) and the Republic of Djibouti. Everybody Counts: Fostering refugee inclusion through national statistics side event will feature pledge outcomes, with presentations from countries, international organizations and refugees, with interpretation available in English, French, Spanish – 15th December full programme available here.

In addition to the side event, EGRISS will be present at the following GRF activities:

  • Plenary, with results from the multi-stakeholder pledge.
  • Speakers’ Corner presentation on 13th December from 15:00 – 15:10: Presentation by Charles Ogolla, Head of Statistics at the IGAD Secretariat on ‘National statistics on refugees and why they matter’ – 13th December full programme available here.
  • Lobby display: GAIN Survey results at the bold facts and figures.
